My sister asked me what's the point of being a child yesterday. To her, it may have seemed like a very random question. But I find this question somewhat surprising. What is the point of being a child, anyway? Is it so that we could compare our lives now with the one's we use to have and say OH, I WISH I WAS STILL THAT YOUNG or OH I WISH I COULD GO BACK TO THOSE SWEET TIMES? Is it so that proverbs like Ignorance Is Bliss can continue to exist? I really do not know why we have to be children. And why some people would choose to be ignorant. Why do most of us want to be children? Why?
I know that I would never want to go back to being a child. There was lots of the world I didn't understand at that age, and now I can marvel at much I've learnt, how much I know myself. And not at the past where I've always been told wat to do.

And I find it kinda funny, I find it kinda sad.

i love the innocence... it's always "Its not her fault, she's still young" rather than "she's old enough to know that she is wrong" when ur young, u have no care in the world.. just a short bliss i guess... being a child is for us to experience short bliss...
